The global phenomenon "Tango After Dark" takes over Hall 1 of the National Palace of Culture (NDK) on October 29: Tango King German Cornejo and the music of Astor Piazzolla in a spectacular show! Following sold-out performances in London, New York, and Dubai, BGTSC brings the magic of Buenos Aires to Sofia. "Tango After Dark" arrives in Sofia to reveal the seductive power of tango after dark in its purest, rawest, and most thrilling form.
Dubbed the "King of Tango" by the British newspaper "Sunday Mail" and known as a favorite of Jennifer Lopez, world tango champion German Cornejo leads ten of the world's most acclaimed dancers. The show is built around the inimitable and intoxicating music of the great Argentine composer and bandoneon player Astor Piazzolla.
The audience will be transported to the sultry, bustling streets of Buenos Aires through authentic Argentine tango, featuring dazzling costumes, precise choreography, and breathtaking moves. Joining the multi-award-winning dance troupe on stage are two of Argentina's finest singers and a sensational five-piece live band. Among them is drummer Jeronimo Izarrualde, who has recorded music for Walt Disney productions.
