Dia Del Tango 2024

We are celebrating World Tango Day with a series of events from 8th till 11th of December!
Come and test your knowledge at the first milonga in Bulgaria with a quiz dedicated to tango. Find like-minded people and participate in one of the teams that will try to answer the questions asked during the cortinas. We have prepared for you interesting and (in our opinion) not too difficult questions. There will also be prizes! We hope to have fun together at the first tango quiz in Sofia!
On December 11 Bulgaria hall will be the scene of an unforgettable musical journey dedicated to World Tango Day. In this special concert by Sofia Philharmonic and "Quarto" ensemble the culmination of the evening will be the guest appearance of the famous Argentinian bandoneonist and composer Omar Massa.
The concert program will take the audience to the passionate world of tango with classic works of the genre, masterpieces by the great Astor Piazzolla and original compositions by Omar Massa. The event is part of the official celebration of the World Tango Day in Sofia under the patronage of the Embassy of the Republic of Argentina in Bulgaria.
Finally, you are more than welcome to join the annual gran milonga where all Sofia dancers traditionally gather to celebrate united by their love for tango! With the special participation of Argentinian bandoneonist Omar Massa and the musicians from "Quarto" who will perform a tanda for the audience.

Wednesday, 11 December
19:00 - Concert with Omar Massa (bandoneon) and "Quarto" quartet in Bulgaria Hall.
21:00 - Gran milonga with DJ El Tigre in Bulgaria Chamber Hall.
